Supervision and check-ins
Placements are arranged through your college, university or Work Coach rather than applied for directly. That way your placement is properly supervised, counts towards your course or programme, and comes with agreed objectives from day one.
Arranged by your college
We host T Level students for the industry placement element of their qualification. Your college agrees the hours, the learning objectives and the review points with us before the placement starts.
Who it is for: FE college students on a T Level in Digital, Business or Management
Arranged by your university
We work with universities under a placement agreement covering supervision, objectives and reporting back to your placement tutor. Placements run for a defined period of up to one year.
Who it is for: Undergraduates whose course includes a required placement
Arranged by your Work Coach
We accept referrals through Jobcentre Plus schemes, including sector-based work academy placements and work trials. Speak to your Work Coach, who will make the referral and confirm what applies to you.
Who it is for: Jobseekers building confidence and UK workplace experience
Arranged directly with us
A short observation visit — you sit in on the working day, see how the team operates and ask questions. No assigned tasks and no commitment on either side, so we can set these up quickly.
Who it is for: Anyone exploring whether IT services is the right direction
Placements arranged through the routes above are unpaid, because they form part of a course or a government-supported scheme and are covered by that arrangement. If you are not on one of those routes and you want to do productive work with us, that is a paid role — talk to us and we will tell you what is open. We do not ask anyone to work unpaid outside a recognised placement scheme.
These are the areas we have open at the moment. Others open at different points in the year as capacity moves around the business, so if you are studying something else it is still worth asking. All placements run fully remotely, with a named supervisor and a weekly check-in.
Supporting central administration across the business. A good fit for anyone studying Business Management, or heading towards operations and administration.
Supporting online outreach, digital brand activity and commercial growth across our IT services business. Suits students heading towards sales, marketing, business development, digital media or social media.
Supporting our HR and people operations work across recruitment, policy and employee relations. We can host more than one placement in this area at a time, each covering a different HR specialism, so there is scope to focus on the side of HR you most want to learn. All work involving personal data is done under direct supervision.
Working alongside our engineers on the service desk and the infrastructure behind it — tickets, troubleshooting, Microsoft 365 and networks. Suits anyone on a computing, networking or digital support course, or working towards CompTIA or Cisco certifications. All work on live client systems is supervised, and placements are given their own sandbox environment to learn in rather than production access.
The areas above are the ones open right now. We host placements across other parts of the business at different points in the year, so tell us what you are studying and we will tell you honestly whether we can host it — or when we expect to be able to.
If you place students or jobseekers and are looking for an employer partner, we would like to hear from you. We can host remote placements in administration, in digital sales and marketing, and in human resources, and we are happy to work to your paperwork — placement agreements, learning objectives, logbooks, mid-placement reviews and end-of-placement reporting.
Every placement is supported the same way, whichever area you join and whoever arranges it.
A named supervisor for every placement
A weekly one-to-one check-in
Structured training and objectives agreed before you start
Certificate of completion and a professional reference
Fully remote — no travel time or cost
A safe environment to learn in, with work reviewed as you go
Tell us where you are studying or who is supporting you, and we will point you to the right route — or talk to your placement coordinator or Work Coach and ask them to get in touch with us directly.
