Frequently asked questions

Do I need any IT experience?

No. Work experience is designed for people who are curious about IT, not those who already know it. All you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Is work experience paid?

Work experience placements are unpaid, but we cover reasonable travel expenses for students travelling to our London office.

How long is the placement?

Standard placements are one week (Monday to Friday). We can sometimes accommodate two-week placements — please mention this in your application.

Can my school or college arrange a group placement?

Yes. We work with schools and colleges to arrange group visits and structured placements. Contact us at [email protected] to discuss.

What happens after work experience?

Many of our former work experience students have gone on to apply for our apprenticeship and internship programmes. We are always happy to stay in touch.

Request a work experience placement

Email our recruitment team with your name, school or college, preferred dates and a short note about why you are interested in IT. We will confirm availability within five working days.
